Hosting
We specialize in offering affordable Windows web and/or application hosting for small to medium size businesses, with an emphasis on providing support for Adobe's ColdFusion application server environment.
We use high-end, dual-processor Pentium Xeon servers running Microsoft's Windows 2003 Internet Information Server (IIS) 6, with connections to Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 Express and MySQL 5.0 data sources. Our hardware is connected to a DS3 pipe, with redundant connections to multiple tier-1 backbone providers.
Tekquest is not a high-volume hosting provider, we don't have $8.95 per month plans, and we don't support dedicated hosting at this time. Most of our business is referral by our existing customers, and we host most of the applications we develop. We don't offer 24x7 phone support, although the servers are monitored 24x7. We don't have customer control panels and such at this point, although you can administer your own domain email accounts. If you need service, you pick up the phone and tell us what you want. We will normally expedite your request within an hour.
We also don't support online credit card charges at this time, as our transaction volume doesn't justify the cost of using a merchant account. We bill either quarterly or annually, depending on your preference.
What we do have is a reliable, friendly environment, with very limited sites per server, high bandwidth and responsive customer support. It is a testiment to our commitment to service that most of the customers that joined us when the company started are still with us. We take service seriously.

We SmarterMail Enterprise for our email services, which provides excellent performance, spam and virus prevention, as well as a dynamic web client with mulitple skins to choose from. We also can provide advanced groupware features such as shared calendars, task lists, global address lists, etc., which can be synchronized with your local Outlook installations.
